A huge win for New Zealand in Bengaluru! By 8 wickets. 

They win a Test in India for the first time in nearly 36 years, becoming only the third team to beat India in India in the past decade 🙌 

Day 4 : 

New Zealand in with excellent chance to register a much eluded Test win in India. 

India would need to replicate their feat from 2004, when they defended 107 against Australia in Mumbai, if they want to win the first Test against New Zealand.

Post Tea : 

New ball did the trick for New Zealand. 

After Sarfaraz Khan departure India lost 6 for 54 - from 408/3 to 462/10 -  a collapse set New Zealand target of 107 with a day to go.

Post lunch - 

At last New Zealand breaks Sarfaraz + Pant partnership after 177 runs, off 211 runs. 1st succes of the day for visitors at last .

Sarfaraz Khan with excellent 150 off 194 balls departs. India 52 ahead. 

24 overs lost due to rain: India wipes out the deficit with 7 wickets in hand : 

Sarfaraz 126* n Pant 64* = 356/3 in 73 overs with aggressive 4.87 runs per over. 

Upto Lunch:

Excellent start , great morning for India with unbeaten 113* off 132  partnership between Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant. When rain stopped play before lunch. With India 12 runs behind. 

SARFARAZ KHAN grabbed opportunity with both hands , got due to Shubman Gill's injury.

Day 3 :

India putting up a desperate fight after huge 1st innings deficit. 

India lost Virat Kohli (70) on the last ball of the day after excellent 100+ partnership with Sarfaraz Khan 70 not out. Yashasvi Jaiswal made 35 and Rohit Sharma 52.

Rachin Ravindra scored excellent hundred - 134 - and Tim Southee very aggressive 65 - for New Zealand to put them in full command.

India chose to bat first:

Shubman Gill replaced by Sarfaraz Khan. Kuldeep Yadav also in for Akshardeep.
