"Personally, not easy, but for the team, yeah, it made a lot of sense.
India's captain will make a rare move down the order in his return in Adelaide .

The last time Rohit Sharma took to the crease in a Test match without opening was during the highly anticipated Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in 2018. In that match, he batted at number 6, showcasing his skills with a fighting score of 63 not out in the first innings, followed by a challenging five in the second.
Since that day, Rohit has embraced the role of an opener, playing 64 innings across 37 Test matches and establishing himself as a key player at the top of the batting order! : by MM.
