#INDvENG : 4th Test Day 1

So It's over to Mahi's Ranchi for 4th test with India leading 2-1 .

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT is back 👊

After an excellent morning bust by debutant Akash Deep,

Joe Root's typical hundred puts England in a strong position, at the end of day 1 .

England 302/7 :  Root 106* n Robinson 31*

Form is temporary, class is permanent. 💯.

Patient knock with 9 fours.

It's his 31st Test century, and one he's worked so hard for. Becomes the player with most test centuries against India - 10 in 52 innings. No reverse scoop so far. 😉

Again Siraj strikes with old ball , Heartly bowled on 13. 245/7.

At last after 100 plus partnership in 68th over , Siraj gets Foakes on 47 : 225/6. Root 75*.

At Tea: 198/5.

Good recovery by England through classic Joe Root 67* and Foakes 28* . First wicketless session of the series for England. Added 86 runs . India have finished all 3 reviews.

At Lunch: 112/5.

Morning belonged to debutant Akash Deep:

24/3 in 7 overs.

At the stroke of lunch:

Jadeja sent back Stokes 3 -  played back to a ball , kept very low : 112/5 : 24.1 over.

Pitch is looking very challenging , we may be in for a low scoring match not likely to go on for five days .

Ashwin removed confident looking Bairstow on 38 : 109/4.

That Leap! 👏 👏

Akash Deep picks up his 3rd wicket 👌 👌

Zak Crawley departs.

Ultimately bowled Crawley on 42.: 57/3.

But it's Akash Deep only after the no-ball wicket

He was breathing fire 🔥

A double-wicket over on Test debut from Akash Deep 🙌 🙌

1st Ben Duckett 11 caught behind and then Ollie Pope 0 lbw with a very bold favourable drs by India: 47/2.

2 wickets in 3 balls 😱😍 what a dream debut for Akash deep 🔥👏

Akash Deep in his very second over bowled a no-ball while dismissing Zak Crawley with a peach 🥲

England chose to bat.

Bumrah is rested and Akash Deep makes debut:
