Boxing Day Test Match at Melbourne Cricket Ground:
🏴 ENGLAND WIN 🏴
Too little too late in terms of the series, but England have won a Test down under for the first time since 2011.
They've beaten Australia by six-wickets in an utterly bonkers two-day match. 🤯
Jacob Bethell top-scores with 40 as we complete our first Test win in Australia since 2011.
The series may have gone, but that’s a result to be proud of 🤝 - by England Cricket.
England 0-3 was playing to regain some pride at historic MCG , as the series is already lost.
This happens also in Australia...20 wickets on day 1 & 12 more by Tea on day 2.
It's been chaos at the MCG 😬
36 Wickets in two days..!
A Test played in fast-forward goes the way of the visitors.
3-1 as we head to the series finale in Sydney.
WAS IT THE PITCH... OR WAS IT THE BATTING? 😬
Clearly, the MCG pitch wasn't at its best, but England looked pretty good batting on it on day two.
Australia, on the other hand, lost 20 wickets in less than 80 overs.
It's the quickest the Aussies have been bowled out twice in a Test since 1928.
So questions need to be asked of the batters - including a trio who've had problems all series.: Labuschagne, Cameron Green & Waetherald.
The SCG Test shapes as the perfect chance to audition some fresh faces... or give some old ones the chance they deserve.

Joe Root falls on 15 with 17 more required: 158/5: Stokes in.
155/4 : Need 20 more.
4/137 : 38 required as
Harry Brook : most promising, ever aggressive..loves to dominate from the very first ball , reminds one of our own Maverick Rishabh Pant...
- joins Joe Root on 12*.
40 more required 135/3 : Target 175
At Tea :
Brydon Carse, with a Test batting average of 19.65, was promoted to No.3 in the fourth innings at the MCG 👀
He had never batted above No.8 in his Test career...
Before Tea on day two 🙄 only..
